Hi Bikefesters,
Only a couple of days to go now!
On Saturday the 29th June, at 8 am the FENWICK’s Bristol Bikefest powered by the BRISTOL BEER FACTORY will open its doors in Ashton Court, Bristol.
If you are racing at the Bikefest or you are just intending to come over for a little bit of a look, or perhaps a beer from our well-stocked event bar, then make sure you check out the latest update we have put up on the site HERE.
The schedule for the weekend is as follows:
- Registration opens at 8:00 am on Saturday (29th June)
- Kids racing will start at 9:00 am and will finish at approx. 10:00 am
- The new E-bike race (solo only) will start at 10:00 and will finish at approx. 11:30 am
- Adult racing will start at 12:00 noon for the ‘main’ categories and 12:07 pm for the Steve Worland Cup. Racing will finish now by 8:00 pm – so as you know, we have turned last year’s 6 hour into an 8 hour event!!
Weather looking great:
The weather for Saturday looks almost perfect for the Fest. Not too hot, not too cold with a bit of sun coming along as well. The days leading up to the event also look warm and dry, which will make our Bikefest course dry, fast and great fun to race on.
A few entries left:
Besides entries being still available (via the site or on the day) for the kids races and the ‘Steve Worland Ride Singletrack Hard & Drink A Swig of Cider Per Lap Memorial Cup’, we also have a few entries in the main event available, due to last minute cancellation.
So, if you can make some room in your schedule and you are up for a bit of mountain bike racing, then come along and enter on the day.
To enter via our secure online entry facilities, please click HERE.
Camping, however, is full, sorry!
Briefing:
And finally, if you are racing at the Bikefest, please make sure that you read the riders briefing before you start heading over. To download the PDF, please click HERE.
So, that’s it, we will head over to AC shortly to start setting up, and we hopefully see you all on Saturday.
